Garden Sips & Herb Tips

Hello, friends! Welcome back to a fresh cup of inspiration—where iced tea meets garden wisdom and cocktail dreams. With our next Whiskey & Wildflowers workshop around the corner, we’re diving into the delightful world of herbs and how they elevate every sip. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just herb-curious, prepare for an unforgettable garden experience this summer.

Grow Your Own Garnish

Want to turn your backyard into a bartender's paradise? Growing herbs is easier than you think! Here are five tips to get you started:

  • Pick Your Players: Start with cocktail favorites like mint, basil, thyme, and rosemary.

  • Sun & Soil: Most herbs love full sun and well-drained soil—6 hours of sunshine help them thrive.

  • Pot It Up: Short on space? Herbs grow wonderfully in containers. Bonus: you can move them for optimal light.

  • Snip Smart: Regular harvesting encourages growth. Snip the tops, not the bottoms!

  • Water Wisely: Let the soil dry slightly between waterings—overwatering is the fastest way to sad herbs.

Pro tip: Add a little garden label with cocktail pairings. It's functional and adorable.

Herb Your Enthusiasm

There’s something magical about mixing earthy flavors with rich spirits. Think of herbs as your cocktail's co-star, bringing beauty, balance, and that unforgettable zing. In our live mixology demo, a professional mixologist will show you how garden herbs shine—but the exact lineup is a surprise! 😉

That said, here's a sneak peek at a few that might make a cameo:
